The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella is a fully electric compact SUV launched in 2026 on the HEARTECT-e dedicated BEV platform co-developed with Suzuki and sharing architecture with the Maruti e-Vitara while featuring distinct Toyota exterior and interior design. It is offered with a 49 kWh or 61 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack; the 49 kWh variant produces 106 kW (144 PS) and the 61 kWh variant produces 128 kW (174 PS) both driving the front wheels through a single-speed direct-drive transmission with no conventional gearbox. The 61 kWh battery offers a claimed ARAI-certified range of 543 km and supports 70 kW DC fast charging via CCS2 enabling a 10–80% charge in approximately 45 minutes, with 7 kW AC home charging standard. The interior features a dual-screen setup with a 10.25-inch infotainment display and 10.1-inch digital driver’s display, ambient lighting, JBL audio, ventilated front seats, and Toyota’s i-CONNECT connected car system. The Ebella is not yet officially launched in Bangladesh but is available through grey-channel imports sourced primarily from India; no official Toyota Bangladesh sales or aftersales support is available for this model yet.
