The Toyota Camry eighth generation (XV70) was launched globally in 2017 and sold in Bangladesh through the 2018–2024 model years on the TNGA-K platform. The Camry Hybrid is powered by the A25A-FXS 2.5-litre Atkinson-cycle inline-four engine paired with Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive, delivering a combined system output of 218 PS through a planetary eCVT transaxle. The hybrid battery is a compact NiMH or lithium-ion pack housed beneath the rear seat, preserving the full 524-litre boot without compromise. Inside the XV70 occupants enjoy a wide low-set dashboard, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an available 9-inch or 10-inch touchscreen with Toyota Safety Sense active safety systems. The Camry is available in Bangladesh both as a reconditioned import — predominantly 2019–2023 Japanese domestic market units — and as a new vehicle through authorised Toyota dealers.
